There are a wide assortment of family board games out there designed to test the knowledge of kids and adults of all ages. Here are just a few…
ATLAS ADVENTURES
Travel the world and discover geography! Be the first player to build your world map and win. In level one (ages 7 and up), players must spin to collect continent and ocean puzzle pieces and complete their world map; in level two (ages 12 and up), older players must answer a trivia question first to collect a piece. Happy or sad faces on the spinner require you to give, take or trade pieces. Includes 200 cards with 400 questions.
BRAIN QUEST
The Games Where It's O.K. to Be Smart! These fast-paced games help kids develop the skills that they'll need to succeed in school. Since players compete at their own age levels, Brain Quest is designed for children of different ages to play together and it actually makes learning fun.
The game for grades 1 – 6 includes more than 1,500 questions on school-related subjects. Teacher’s Choice Award and National Parenting Publication Award.
TOTALLY GROSS!
Want to help kids understand chemistry, biology and more? A dose of gross helps science make sense! Did you know snot keeps your lungs clean? Or that some bullfrogs are cannibals? Learn this and more as you travel around the game board answering queasy questions. Land on a Gross-Out space, and you may have to check another player for toe jam or describe the last time you threw up! Every time you answer a question or complete a Gross-Out, stretch your slime on the score line. Stretch it to 10 and complete a Lab Experiment to win the game! Full of action and information, it's an educational game they'll actually enjoy.
